Product design and development of the travel spray case, created in close collaboration with the Balenciaga teams under the creative direction of Demna.

Conceived as a portable extension of the fragrance object, the case translates the house’s radical minimalism into a precise and tactile metal piece. The cylindrical architecture, reduced to its purest geometry, is defined by perfect proportions, sharp junction lines and a monolithic polished finish.

Material research focused on achieving a mirror-like surface with absolute visual continuity, while ensuring durability for daily use and repeated refilling. The engraved BB signature on the cap is integrated directly into the volume, avoiding any applied element and reinforcing the object’s sculptural character.

The internal construction was developed to guarantee a seamless interaction between case and refill, with exact tolerances and a smooth opening gesture.

Challenges: expressing Balenciaga’s industrial elegance at a miniature scale, maintaining optical purity on a highly reflective surface, and balancing technical precision with a couture-like presence.
